Individual training

We have varied and largeindividual training areas inside the centre, arranged with different zones for cardio training, body weight training and stretching. We have a wide range of machines with everything from treadmills, stairmachines, bicycles and rowing machines, to free weights, cable towers and training rigs.

Group classes

Do you want to train endurance, strength or perhaps yoga? We have a couple of weekly group lessons that you can choose between. Common to all our group classes is that the instructor guides you through the entire class, so that you get the best possible benefit from your training session.

Guest training

As a student member with us, you can train for free at seven other student associations around the country when you are on holiday or during random visits.

NTNUI-membership

Did you know that we collaborate with NTNUI (student sports) in Gjøvik? When you buy membership from us, as an NTNU student you can get membership at NTNUI-Gjøvik included in the price. Take part in a range of activities and sports – everything from volleyball, running and handball, to table tennis and climbing. You will surely find something that suits you!

Outdoor workoutfacilities

Just outside the lawn in front of the S building, on NTNU's campus, you will find an outdoor training rig. This training rig was set up as a collaborative project with Sit, NTNUI and NTNU. The rig is open to everyone and can be used for various forms of training using your own body weight.

How do I gain access to the centre?

You can download our new app "Sit Trening" to get mobile access to all of our gyms. You can also get access with card: Employees and students at NTNU use their NTNU card. Take your card with you and approach our training hosts during staffed opening hours to activate on your first visit. All other members receive a separate Sit training card. Contact the training hosts during staffed opening hours to collect a training card.
