Open kindergarten

Twice a week, you can bring your child to Sit’s Open Kindergarten. This free service offers you and your child the chance to join a social community, allowing both children and adults to build networks through play and social interaction. The Open Kindergarten is led by a pedagogical leader, and you do not need to be a student to use this service. We are located in Moholt Kindergarten, Moholt Allé 9b.

Tuesdays: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Thursdays: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

The Open Kindergarten is closed on public holidays and during MiniUKA in September. The last opening day before summer is Thursday, June 13 – we reopen on Tuesday, August 13.

Gjøvik

We offer our kindergarten for rent for children's birthday parties. Please contact the manager to arrange a suitable time.

Saturday Open Kindergarten

We run an exam open kindergarten 5–6 hours on some Saturdays before exams in the run-up to Christmas and during the summer.

The hourly rate is NOK 40 per hour. Pre-registration is required.

Collaboration with the Cross-Disciplinary Family Team in Gjøvik

We work closely with the Cross-Disciplinary Family Team in Gjøvik, which provides additional parental guidance in cooperation with us on:

• How to support and assist your child in their development
• How to improve your relationship with your child
• Sharing thoughts and ideas with others
• Understanding how other parents address common challenges

This service is free and can be arranged in collaboration with the kindergarten's educators.
