Sit is constructing new student housing and multi-use buildings with a focus on local integration and a forward-looking approach. We place a strong emphasis on sustainable solutions that provide quality and value to students and other users of our buildings. We are always willing to go the extra mile and work a bit harder to find solutions that offer something special while staying within our set parameters.

Powerhouse Moholt

Sit, Skanska, and Snøhetta have initiated a groundbreaking collaboration to develop Powerhouse student housing at Moholt.

Nardovegen 12-14

On the old industrial site at Nardovegen 12-14, we are constructing housing for over 840 students. Additionally, we are creating beautiful new green spaces that will not only benefit the students living there but also serve as open and inviting areas for the local community to enjoy.

A shared-use building at the entrance to St. Olavs, where Sit provides fitness facilities and dining areas, and NTNU has office and teaching spaces.

Røverdalen student housing

Sit and Gjøvik Municipality are collaborating to build 248 new student housing units on top of a brand new parking garage in Røverdalen.

The old student accommodation at Klostergata 56 is being demolished to make way for twice as many student housing units.

Klostergata 20 A and B upgrade

Klostergata 20 will undergo a complete renovation, with the façade restored to its original state from around 1890. Internally, we will follow the same approach as in Klostergata 18, removing everything except for two staircases from the original construction, and rebuild according to TEK17 standards.

Completed Projects

Sundebygget

Sundebygget opened in the autumn of 2022 and is an impressive multipurpose building situated in the heart of NTNU's campus in Ålesund. It houses student accommodation, a concert venue, student housing, a gym, spaces for student organisations, an innovation hub, and more.

Moholt allé upgrade

The communal blocks in Moholt, located in Moholt student village, were developed between 2021 and 2023. All communal areas were constructed, old storage rooms were converted into housing units, asphalted roundabouts were transformed into green spaces, and a new geothermal heating plant, a bicycle repair workshop, and new outdoor social areas were built.

Moholt allmenning

Moholt Allmenning, also known under the project name Moholt 50|50, is centrally located in Moholt student village. It is a groundbreaking environmental project that combines innovative use of mass timber with passive house standards to create sustainable housing and facilities.
