It’s important to go to the dentist on a regular basis to check the condition of your teeth. The longer you wait, the higher the risk you might need expensive treatment. Dentists recommend going to a dental examination every 12 to 18 months. Remember to ask the dentist if they offer at discount for students.
For your convenience, SiT give you an overview of the ten most economically reasonable dentists in Trondheim.
The overview is based on which dentist offers the cheapest dental examination. A dental examination usually consists of three steps: dental x-rays, visual examination and a basic rinsing of teeth/removal of tartar. The dentist may also present a further treatment plan, or suggest a new appointment if there's a need.
Dental health care in Norway
Norwegian dentists are required to make their prices available for their patients, and you’re entitled to a detailed estimate of the final price before undergoing treatment.
Be aware that dentists in private dental health care define prices independently, so prices will vary from dentist to dentist. It’s wise to undergo treatment with the same dentist who gave you the dental examination - that’s why we recommend that you check their general price level.
